GitHub Satellite Travel Voucher Offer

This is a limited, non-transferable offer (the "Offer"). If you received this special Offer via email and have registered for the conference using the code provided, then you are eligible for this offer. If you did not receive an email with this Offer, then you are not eligible to redeem it. The Offer is available while supplies last, and terminates after the Conference ends on May 23, 2019.

Your Responsibility: If travel is necessary, you are responsible for having valid travel documents including government identification and/or passports. You are also responsible for all travel expenses not included herein, including airline baggage fees, gratuities, meals, and any other incidental costs or expenses related to redemption of this Voucher and your attendance at the Conference. You acknowledge that GitHub has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance for any part of your trip. For your accommodations, you may be required to provide a major credit card upon hotel check-in, and all in-room charges will be charged to the credit card. Any damage to the room will be your responsibility. GitHub bears no responsibility if any event, element, or detail of the Offer, including the Conference, is canceled, postponed, or becomes unavailable for any reason.

Offer Void: You must attend at least one day of the Conference to redeem this Voucher, or the Offer will be void. Failure to attend the Conference means that you cannot redeem the Voucher. Please let us know if you can’t make it to the Conference or decide you don’t want to come so we can extend the Offer to another individual.

Redeem Offer: The Voucher may only be redeemed by presenting travel and accommodations booking confirmation emails, other reservation documentation, and receipts to GitHub within 30 days of the Conference. GitHub will reimburse you up to the stated Voucher amount in the Offer in your local currency within 30 days of submission of valid receipts, accommodation information, and travel documentation. GitHub may require additional information to verify your attendance at the Conference.

Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS OFFER AND CONFERENCE, INCLUDING THE VOUCHER, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON- INFRINGEMENT.

No Amendments; Entire Agreement: This Offer may only be modified by a written amendment signed by an authorized representative of GitHub. This Offer represents the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between you and us. This Offer supersedes any proposal or prior agreement oral or written, and any other communications between you and GitHub relating to the subject matter of these terms.

Miscellaneous: This Offer will be construed, interpreted, and applied in accordance with the laws of the State of California (excluding its body of law controlling conflicts of law). In the event of any action arising out of this Offer or breach thereof, or between you and GitHub, such action shall be brought and maintained exclusively in San Francisco County, California. If any provision of this Offer or any word, phrase, clause, sentence or other portion thereof should be held unenforceable or invalid for any reason, then that provision or portion thereof shall be modified or deleted in such manner as to render the remaining provisions of this Offer valid and enforceable. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Offer or any related documents will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. This Offer is not compensation for employment or intended as an Offer of or compensation for work of any kind. GitHub's failure to enforce any term of this Offer shall not constitute a waiver of that provision and such provision shall remain in full force and effect.
